Burmese restaurant

The food was fresh and authentic. I found the flavour was similar with all proteins. Not a good place for vegetarian options. We went around 2:00 PM and the food was fresh. It is possible to have sit in meal, but the atmosphere outside is not inviting.

Super authentic Burmese curries and more cooked by a grandmother in a unassuming location.

Food is actually ok and authentic, reasonable priced too ($14 for rice, pork curry, fish egg curry and 1 onion fritter) but the lady of this stall is very rude and ALWAYS grumpy. Expect to be yelled at too if you take some time to decide what to eat, a normal response when all the curries look the same and she can’t explain what they are. I’ve returned a few times for the food and tried not to take the attitude personally. She is grumpiest when she is cooking (you’ve been warned) so avoid and return later if she is.

Can't go wrong here. Generous servings at gastronomically low prices.. My favorites are the Pork Curry and Mohinga but it all taste exceptional here.. Definitely worth the trip!

Chowing down on the goat curry right now, absolutely delicious! Old mama doesn't speak english very well, but she's an absolute darling and boy can she cook. Don't be like Ivan Bowater the complainer who'll trash your business online unless you speak the queens english smh, she may not speak great english but it doesn't affect the taste of the food!

Had Mohinga for the first time...Interestingly delicious. Eyed some tripes, fish eggs curries and Balachaung, decided to buy them all. The location is a bit hard to find. it's right next to the back entrance/exit of chemist warehouse. The owner is a character, she doesn't speak much English, I don't speak Burmese, but the deal is...she cooks good food, charge very reasonable prices...you come to eat. If you go in imagining that you have taken a trip to Burma and landed in a food place that the local raves about, you will be in the right mindset to enjoy the experience.

Discovered this little gem a few years ago. Generous portions, affordable and tasty. Really like the Rosella leaf curry with shredded bamboo shoots and chili. Mum is quite a character too !

Jewel of the KGB, this place. It's been open for 8 years or so selling simple but delicious curries with a wide variety of ingredients but no wanky names - beef curry, pork curry, fish head curry etc. The curries are typically mild, but you must try the chili garlic and onion flakes. The bomb, and this place is a true gem.Once more thing. Mum accepts cash only!
